Ride starts at in the Mall parking lot across from the Great Mall VTA LIGHT RAIL/BUS Station, Great Mall Parkway & McCandless Drive/Great Mall Dr., Milpitas. We ride the rollers on Piedmont and climb two 0.2 mile 7-8% hills. Estimated return around 12:30 to 1:00 PM. May have lunch at the end of the ride.

Meet at Argonaut Shopping Center on Sunnyvale-Saratoga road east side just south of Pierce in Saratoga. Park on the North end near Mountain Mike's Pizza. We warm up with some flat miles through the neighborhoods then pick up the pace to the M level (14-16 mph). The emphasis of the Thursday ride is the added challenge of rated goats in the area to the M pace route. Re-groups at the top of sustained climbs. Triples recommended. Faster riders are welcome to go off the front. Ride rolls at 6:00 PM sharp. Wet Pavement cancels.

We will ride around Clear Lake in counterclockwise direction. Shorter rides available. This ride is part of the Fri-Sun weekend overnighter at Clear Lake State Park. Hotel/motel options possible in nearby Kelseyville and Lakeport for those not into camping. Breakfast will be supplied in camp but we’ll go out for dinner at local restaurants. Most people will drive up Friday morning and return Sunday afternoon, camping Fri/Sat nights. Cost for the weekend TBD but estimate $30-$40 per person. Carpooling encouraged. RSVP by Sep 21.
