We had a large turn out to the Tour de Franz last year. This year’s event is set to coincide when the tour founder reaches a new milestone (age wise). There are two different routes and starting locations to choose from. This route starts at the home of Franz and Anne Kelsch, in Gilroy - 7150 Harvard Pl. Lunch will be provided following the ride. We start and finish Keefer’s Motel in King City - 831-385-4843. Some people stay over Friday night at Keefer's and we walk to dinner -1 Mile. Meet at Keefer’s at 6:30 AM then we will ride to breakfast at Denny’s. Travel the back roads of Monterey, San Benita, and Fresno Counties with an over night in Coalinga's Cambridge Inn - 559-935-1541. Please make your own reservations. We will need a volunteer sag vehicle to carry a small overnight bag, your lunch and snacks we will provide - $15 fee per person to cover supplies. A ride from King City to Gonzales is usually planned for people arriving early Friday, by 9am. Please call ride leader to confirm participation and for additional information.
